Rule #1: Forex trading requires passion and hard work.
Forex trading takes time and effort to learn. Experienced traders can make money in this field, however, success doesn’t just happen overnight. It requires dedication and hard work to make things tick. There is no substitute for success.
Practice trading on a demo account is one of the first important steps you must take before deciding to put your real money into the market. Do not open a live trading account until you are profitable on a demo account. Having a strong interest in Forex trading is not a must, but it does help to keep up the momentum even if you have a bad run of losing trades.
Rule #2: Do not over trade, stick to two or three currency pairs
New traders tend to trade as many pairs as they could. I recommend that traders trade at least one major as the spread is one of the lowest yet the liquidity is high. The EURUSD and GBPUSD are the most popular pairs to trade with. For Yen lovers, my recommendation is to trade with EURJPY.
Rule #3: Don’t just trade technically, but watch out for fundamental releases This system may rely very much on technical analysis but one of the important factors to trade Forex successfully is to understand that the main driving force behind the fluctuation is still the country’s economic progression. Without the fundamental news, there would be no supply and demand on the market.
Therefore, you have to watch out for any important news releases to trade the Forex market. Use my system but avoid news release period to avoid false breakout and whipsaw.
